Rose
How long have you been following Queen?
Scott
Since 1974, when I heard Killer Queen.(Dal 1974 quando ho ascoltato Killer Queen)
Rose
When have you seen them live for the first time? And where exactly?
Scott
March 1977 at the Seattle Center Arena. Thin Lizzy opened for them. I actually have a bootleg on disk of that show.(Marzo 1977 Al Seattle Center Arena. Thin Lizzy aprii il loro show . In realtà ho una copia pirata su disco di quello show.)

Please describe us how you managed to get to the show, and what were your feelings that day and your excitement as Freddie entered the stage. Tell us something about that wonderful day.
Scott
The Bo Rap video is what made me want to see them. The live part of the video showed me that they were a bit different than other shows. When I saw them live, they opened with Tie Your Mother Down. Freddie came out thru some flash pots ( fireworks) on stage that got the place rocking. He communicated with the audience and had them participate with them. Other shows didn’t do that then. It was more of an experience than an observation.(Il video di Bohemian Rapsody mi ha fatto venire la voglia di vederli.
Rose
What word would you use to describe that day?
Scott
Awesome! It’s really the only show that I remember more details than others.(Fantastico.
Rose
How you would describe Freddie Mercury, now, 25 years after his passing? What has he left to you?
Scott
I think Freddie was someone who genuinely loved to entertain and wanted you to feel part of what the band was doing live. He expanded what Rock could be. I don’t know how many people I’ve talked with (especially younger people) that wished they had seen him.
Rose
Do you consider Queen still alive as a group today? Or do you think they are no longer a band after that November 1991?
Scott
(These are from Q+PR in Seattle, WA USA on April 10, 2006.)
Scott
I did a little research and found this story from the 1977 US tour.(Ho fatto una piccola ricerca e ho trovato questa storia dal tour americano del 1977)
